Soto Sapi Empal Gentong Cirebon-style

A traditional spicy beef curry soup hailing from Cirebon, West Java. It’s slow-cooked for hours in clay pots, resulting in tender cuts of beef, tripe, and tendon, eggs, fried shallots, melinjo crackers, simmered in rich, turmeric-infused coconut milk broth. Served with lontong (compressed rice cake).
