Pints of Joy
Pints of Joy is a desi-owned ice cream brand started by friends and co-founders Ketki Dandekar and Arshiya Shaikh during the COVID-19 pandemic, when they turned homemade frozen treats into a business after sharing their ice cream with friends and neighbors and getting great feedback. Their original Sunnyvale spot quickly built a loyal following with Indian-inspired flavors like Alphonso Mango and Gulab Jamun alongside classic favorites, and in 2025 they expanded to a bright new location in Fremont’s downtown, celebrating with a warm community gathering. Folks of all backgrounds now come for the mix of nostalgic desi tastes and familiar scoops, and the founders continue to experiment with seasonal and festive flavors while staying rooted in quality and local connection.
