Fueled by that dream and a passion for sharing bold flavors, he created a chili oil that became more than just a condiment. Alongside Tram, a science-minded first-generation American who left behind a medical career path to pursue this spicy venture, the duo launched Hot Boi with a mission to spark meaningful conversations through great food and company. Rooted in their Vietnamese heritage and shaped by personal struggles—Alex seeking to honor his late father’s entrepreneurial legacy, and Tram breaking free from the "golden child" mold—they now strive to build a judgment-free space where self-expression thrives.
