Sibeiho is a vibrant Portland-based food startup and retail shop that brings the multifaceted culinary heritage of Singapore—incorporating Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Nonya influences—directly to the Pacific Northwest. Founded by Holly Ong and Pat Lau, the brand is best known for its award-winning, small-batch Sambal chili sauces, such as the fan-favorite AF Chili Chunka and OMG! Sambal, which are crafted using all-natural ingredients sourced from local Oregon farmers. What began as an intimate "underground" supper club in 2019 has blossomed into a curated destination on NW 23rd Avenue, where visitors can discover unique Singaporean pantry staples like refrigerated US-made kaya, enjoy a traditional Kopi C with a spam bun, or pick up a "Tingkat" dinner to-go. Embodying its name—a Hokkien slang term for "F-king Good"—Sibeiho focuses on high-quality, nostalgic flavors that transport diners to the sights and tastes of the founders' homeland while remaining deeply rooted in the local food ecosystem.
